Re: SAP CRM Hide Prices in WebShop - B2B

Hi Vijay,

Did you create a custom viewhandler Z_MiniBasketOverlayViewHandlerImpl? If so then I would remove:

<ViewComponent name="minibasketoverlay"
componentHandlerClassName="com.sap.wec.app.esales.module.transaction.ui.viewhandler.MiniBasketOverlayViewHandlerImpl" />

Because you don't need to refer to the default handler if you have your own, where your own would be a sub-class of the default handler.

And then try again.

Pieter

Runtime error on XCM when returning product configuration

$

Hi,

I have a configurable product. The product is modelled in SAP ERP. The configuration interface is working perfectly fine in SAP SD; procedures, selection conditions and prices are working just as expected.

Sales orders will be created in SAP CRM, so I created a knowledge base and then a runtime version for the product. No errors occured and the knowledge base is downloaded to SAP CRM.

When I create a sales order for the product, the configuration interface is opened in a new window. 1.png).

I configure the product, and click Check button, no error happens:

2.png

When I click Accept button, a runtime error occurs:

3.png

From what I can tell, this looks like either an authentication or a security issue, as the user is asked to log on.

I had completed XCM settings as written in help.sap.com.

My application_security parameter (I did not fill the authentication user, as this will be filled in application configuration component) :

4.png

I created a configuration a la crmordermaintain : Polatconf. For its assigned jco component, refer to this image.Test is working fine.

5.png

I assigned another not standart component configuration to Polatconf. For parameter scenario_security_data, I created a configuration named Polatsecurity and maintained my authentication user here. For this, refer to this image. Test is working fine.

6.png

Java trace log file is too big, but on the last page it mentions the error. Any ideas?

SAP CRM WEB UI

I have a single view which serves two functionalities through two radio-buttons.Upon selection of a particular radio-button one assignment block appears on that view when i click on an event . Problem is this appeared assignment block doesn't disappear but rather stays there as disabled when I click on the other radio-button to render the other functionality which rather stays there as disabled. How do I get it removed for one functionality but let it stay for a different functionality when everything is controlled by a single view?

CRM Web Channel or Web UI?

Dear Experts,

I have a requirement to implement order to cash in CRM. The scenario is not finalized till now. We are doing studies from different angles to fix the best solution.

We have the requirement to display product catalogs in the UI. Customers(Employees within our organization) will have access to it and should be able to select the products. We are OK with intranet solution. Now I have few questions related to it.

  1. What would be the recommended UI?
    • If Web Channel, do we need to create the entire UI in java/jsp in eclipse?
  2. Do we have an option to create the products in CRM backend and display them in Web UI by configurations?
  3. When the customer orders for a product, is it possible to split it in the backend and create multiple sale orders?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks & Regards,

Sanoosh

Hi Jai,

Were you able to get a solution to this? I have a similar requriement and was thinking of using the lsiting and exclusion functionality for the B2B setup with ERP backend.

Could you share the solution you used?

Thanks

Hi Sanoosh

Assumption is that you are using CRM 7.0 as a part of your ERP system.  Also, will be using new WCEM as a part of your implementation ?

What would be the recommended UI?

    • If Web Channel, do we need to create the entire UI in java/jsp in eclipse?

--> As you will be using the product catalog it is recommended to use webshop functionality as it will allow you to set up the product catalog and it's easy use in order creation from webshop.  Also it is quite easy to maintain. You need to use UI in java/jsp as it is provided by SAP.  Hence, you need to check the complexity of this in various modules in web channel - traditional webchannel, WCEM 1.0, 2.0 or 3.0.

Do we have an option to create the products in CRM backend and display them in Web UI by configurations?

--> Yes it is possible. Product configuration can be done in web channel.  Again, please check the possibility of using configurations in various modules in web channel - traditional webchannel, WCEM 1.0, 2.0 or 3.0.

When the customer orders for a product, is it possible to split it in the backend and create multiple sale orders?

--> It should be possible to split the orders in the back end.  Backend in this case can be CRM or there is an option in Webchannel LORD scenario to create sales order directly in ECC.

Hope this will be useful.  Please grant points accordingly.

Thanks and Regards

DJ

WCEM 2.0 Resultlist B2B Order

$

Hi,

My question is quite simple, but I can't figure out where to configure/change this. I have added a column to the resultlist (ERP), for example total amount. This column is default added as the last column in the resultlist. How can I change the column position of this newly added column, for example appear as the third column and not the last.

Regards,

Pieter

Hi,

I assume you just introduced the new column at the last position in the result list description, don’t you?

Just put the new column at the position you want to have it.

Best regards

Hi Wolfgang,

I think I tried that, but didn't seem to work. Besides that the column is added in generic-searchbackend-config-erp.xml. The custom XML holds only the new column, because the XML files will be merged.

Pieter

Hi Pieter,

in this case I think the easiest way is to create a new result list description (copy the content of generic-searchbackend-config-erp.xml and add the new column appropriately) and define this one in your search description part.

Re: Product warning messages not shown in WCEM

Hi Tarun/Alex,

I think you can solve your problem by using the messages.xml located in the salestransaction module. By default all non-error messages are hidden on the webshop, see xml below the attribute hide_non_error_messages:

<tns:global_config        default_message_resource_key="sapsalestransactions.ui.rfc.messages.label.defaultMessage"        hide_non_error_messages="true" />

So if you want to show your message you should create your own messages.xml in your custom salestransaction module (BO part), and also register it in the metadate.xml.

<config-file namespace="customer" part="bo" type="rfc_messages">messages.xml</config-file>

In the messages.xml you can add the message you want to be shown something like this.

<wec:ifValue variable="${backend}" value="crmdefault">            <message>                    <source id="CRM_PRODUCT_I" number="421" type="I" msgV1="*" msgV2="*" />                     <destination type="I"                                           resource_key_shorttext="sapsalestransactions.crm.rfc.messages.yourCustomMessage"                                           resource_key_longtext="" />           </message></wec:ifValue>

Email an invoice directly from SAP CRM 7 via ERMS

Hi there,

Is there a way to email a customer invoice from SAP CRM7 using SAP ERMS?

With SAP CRM4, we are able to open up the invoice and click on the email icon. This will launch a new email from outlook with the bill attached.

I'm looking for a more integrated way to email an invoice using ERMS within SAP.

Thanks,

Catherine

Hi Kivanc,

Also check the logs on VMC (SM53). The trace you have attached doesn't give much idea on what is wrong happening, and there might be many reason it has gone it error.

Morever, you have been to log on again, it is very generic, every time any error happens may be due to any reason, the framework invalidate the session and user is asked to relogin.

When you take a trace, take it from XCM session trace tool, it will have more details on where it is failing.

Handling a specific URL parameter in WCEM

$

Hi everybody,

Is it possible to handle a specific URL parameter in WCEM ?

For example :

http://site:port/main/wec-startapp.jsf?wec-appid=MYAPP&my-specific-param=MYVALUE

Our need is to call a Business Rule Management System giving WCEM the list of allowed articles in the catalog. Depending on the specific parameter, the BRMS will give a different list of articles.

The value of the specific parameter is chosen by the user at connexion :

- we don't want to add a dropdown list on the connexion screen to choose the parameter value ;

- we don't want to use a different webshop for each possible value ;

- that's why we would like to have one webshop and add a specific parameter in the URL

Do you have an idea ?

Hi Julien,

you want to access the request parameter in your view handler? Please have a look at the WCEM development and extension guide chapter about "request parameter binding".

Best regards,

Sounds like a solution.

We'll see during the development phase if it fits the needs.

From integration guide, SAP Best Practice Hybris E-Commerce with Lean Integration into SAP ERP, the order will be sent to FTP server via csv file the SAP PI will be used to load it to ECC regulary.  So this isn't RFC online transaction and asynchrous.  What kind of refresh time can we set to meet the ATP check?
